Best at home hair dye?

Does anyone have any recommendations for an at home hair dye that is good for maintaining quality of hair? I normally have balayage/highlights but it's so expensive these days... looking for one that ideally has a good range of blonde shades.

I used to use the L'Oréal ones in my younger days but looking for something a bit better quality. Thank you!

Nice n Easy demi permanent or permanent. They have a wide range of shades.

Im brunette and i used casting by l'oreal but they are no longer as good. I bought a medium brown casting and looked like a goth.
Had to buy a colour remover.

I use nice n easy medium golden brown now and it really suits me.
