Help! First interview since 1984! What do I wear?

I'm a cm currently, so I don't think jeans, with sick and dinner stains on them will cut it!

I've got black trousers and decent boots, so thats a start? I just need a nice blouse, but I haven't bought a work one for 13 years! What's the in thing atm?

And do I need to wear a suit jacket too, or will trousers and blouse do? Its a cover supervisor in a secondary school btw.

take a bag you can put your notepad in
write down questions
take water, hankies

read, read, read the job spec prior to going.
stay calm.

I'd go to Matalan and get a jacket that co-ordinated with the black trousers,grey or tweedy iykwim and pick up a nice blouse at the same time.

Oh nice jacket! We have a big Matalan, so I shal head there in the morning. I'd forgotten about a bag SM! the only ones I've got contain nappies, wipes and dummies!
