I had terrible acne as a teenager which was eventually cleared with Roaccutane. But it left several very large cysts on my face and neck, they were spots that never came to a head but didn't disappear either.
I asked one NHS dermatologist years ago about the worst one on my nose (when I was seeing him for something else) and he said removal would leave a bigger scar than the cyst.
I want to try and get a second opinion privately about removal as the largest one gives me a caricature witch-like appearance.
Does anyone know the name of a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who can remove these things? I mean a specialist or someone pretty renowned, as I think it may be a difficult case going off what's been said before.I need the whole thing including the sac to be removed or else it will just come back.
