Hotter Tourist sandals - yay or nay?

I bought some today. They're super comfortable but I'm not sure if they look that nice. What do you think of them?

Well, I personally would never but it's not about me or anyone else!

If they're comfortable and you like them - that's all that matters

I gave the tan ones. They are no worse than Birkenstocks imo.

Those kinds of shoes are relatively fashionable nowadays. Just pretend to yourself that they're birkenstocks.

I have the tan ones. It's like walking on a cloud! Yes they are similar style to Birkenstocks. I found Birkenstocks really uncomfortable though

I decided to keep them. They've done me pretty well walking around central London today!

I have them in gold and in black. I've worn Birkenstocks for 20 years but in the last couple of years I felt I needed something with a bit more cushioning under foot and the Hotters are perfect. Are they the world's coolest or most glamorous footwear? Probably not but that doesn't bother me at all, uncomfortable footwear bothers me a lot.

I bought some black ones earlier this year. Very pleased with them, although it's rained so much that I haven't had much wear out of them yet.

I think what to always remember with shoes, especially if you're likely to wear them for a decent amount of walking or standing, is that you won't look good in them at the end of the day if they're not comfortable.
