Has anyone used the Revlon One-Step Blow Dry Multi Styler?

Bit of a mouthful there 😁

https://www.revlonhairtools.shop/one-step-blow-dry-multi-styler/14573189.html#

I've just bought it after hankering for so long for an air wrap but not ever having the money for one.

I happened to spot the Revlon styler in Boots and decided to try it it, I'm not sure if it's a newer product as I'd never seen it before. I currently use the Revlon One step, I used to love the way it made my hair look but since switching shampoo my hair seems to have changed texture (it's a lot more silky now!) which is good however my hair now seems to look flat even when I use my One Step.

Has anyone used it and can give me their opinions before I try it (so I can return it if everyone says it's rubbish 😁)

I had the airwrap until yesterday and only used it for normal drying. I tried the wrap wand things a couple of times at home but just didn't want the pressure of trying to do my hair for a night out so never used the air wrap part of it. I went to USA in May and you can't use the airwrap so I ordered a Revlon one step to be delivered to the hotel. I liked using it on holiday so ordered one on Prime day.
I much prefer the one step, gives a nice bit of body and shape to my hair ends.

Did you buy the usual One Step or the One Step multi-styler with the curler? I already have the original One Step, I thought the One step multistyler had a blow dryer like the Air wrap does but turns out it's just a root drying comb 😓 I was hoping to replace my old knackered hair dryer but can't be used as a normal hair dryer so I think I'll need to send it back

I have the original One-Step and it was a freaking waste of money. Got if off Boots on sale and the fact I paid less for it doesn't make me regret it any less. My hair looks great for like 20 minutes then it looks like I wore a helmet and "lifeless" doesn't even come close to describe it. It's more it got life sucked out of it. I could go on but you have one so I'll just say this I would take any "reviews" for Revlon appliances with a very very very large pinch of salt.
I bought mine on whim but looking at the reviews for what I bought, honestly it's not even for the same thing. They talk about rolling it down but you can't roll down something which is "oval" and weighs more than most newborns (unless you want to tone your arms).
The only good thing is that it in fact dries your hair just fine. But unless you're one of those really really lucky people with enough hair for 3 heads and you want to reduce volume avoid Revlon altogether. Keep your money or go with Babyliss.
Don't believe the reviews for any of the Revlon appliances. Most of them were "embellished".

I have the revlon one step and love it - I have mid length fine hair that lacks volume & the one step has been a game changer for me

Sorry got cut off.. the new styler looks interesting but pretty pricy when the only difference seems to be tongs?

OMG. Were you paid?? Sorry, jokes aside, my hair is like yours and if I slept with a beanie on I would probably get more volume than with the One-Step.
I've tried to unload mine FOR FREE several times and nobody wants it. I gave it away twice and twice it was returned. Nobody wants it, not even for free. I don't want it. If yours breaks and you come on holiday to Portugal or Spain I'll send mine your way (it has a UK plug).

Is the multi styler dual voltage @pumpkintits ? I'm going to the US soon and would like to use it there. Can't find any info on the revlon website.

I had the original one step and used it a few times on the hot setting, drying my hair from quite wet, to dry. I was very impressed the first couple of times, but then I realised it had fried my hair. Really ruined the condition.

Following mumsnet advice I have recently purchased the later model and have used it once on the low heat setting on hair that is only slightly damp. I'm still a bit wary of it.

I'm not sure if this means it's dual voltage or not but this is what the box says ☺️

Has anyone used the Revlon One-Step Blow Dry Multi Styler?

Yeah the styling brush is pretty much the same as the One Step, it's smaller though and doesn't have the hair-like bristles, just the plastic ones. I bought it thinking it had just a normal hair dryer attachment but turns out that's the root comb (which I would never use!) so it's going back as I the price doesn't justify the what I would then use it for.

Anyone have any decent hair dryer recommendations? Preferably not too expensive 😅

@pumpkintits ah yes I have the normal One Step it's the titanium one.
I have the Babyliss 3Q hairdryer, it has ionic which I feel helps to make my thick hair smoother.

I'm no help, OP, as I've not seen that styler before, but I (and my hair) adore the Revlon One Step ❤️ I've got fine hair but a fair amount of it, and it makes my hair shiny and swishy.
