City Block spf25 - Back in Stock!

Just to let you all know that the City Block spf25 is back in stock on the Clinique website (I've ordered 3!). I know it's not the same as the beloved spf40, but at least it's better than the abomination that is the new spf50.

They say that they are experiencing order processing problems so there might be some delay in deliveries - applies to the whole site - but better than nothing I think.

Are they linked to estee lauder? They had a security breach

@greenteaandmarshmallows I think they must be. Coincidentally I was looking to order mascara from the Estée Lauder site and they had a similar message.

Have you had it yet? I’m desperate to know if it’s the usual formula. I can’t bear (or afford!) to order it and it be as awful as that superdefense.

@MrsMigginsPies I haven't tried it yet as I'm still going through the very end of my spf40. I'll report back when I've opened one of the new ones.

@MrsMigginsPies in the interests of research I opened one of the new spf25 City Block and am happy to confirm that it seems to be just like the old formula and nothing like the awful spf50 version!

Thanks for testing it, I really appreciate it, I will now order some. Some of the things I’ve been testing in a desperate attempt to replace my much loved super city block have been awful.

I’ve found it has changed somehow. It feels a tad greasier maybe, and the smell is weird. I also keep finding my cheeks burnt. Even today after a couple of hours gardening my cheeks are bright red.
I am back on the search to find something better for next summer.
