Oh please mumsnet fashionistas help me find spring shoes because..............................

Since I was pregnant (my dd is now 3.3) I have only ever worn flat shoes you know the reason comfy easy to chase after child, I do lots of walking etc etc.

However now I would like something a little bit more womanly sexy etc with a bit of a heel, but not crippingly high.

I am 5ft tall have dainty size 3 feet with a slim ankle. (Legs above knee are another matter .

I mainly wear jeans casual as sahm. Am going to canary islands for break shortly so wanted something I could use there.

Am I thinking along the right lines with some sort of strappy wedge or am I way off the mark?

Don't do shorts because of thighs but will wear skirts and dresses on hols.

i woud get a pair or 2 of ballet pumps as well

next and dune have luverly ballets

last summer i lived in metallic ballet pumps from dune

i bought extras in the sale for this year

oh yes

ballet pumps excellent on the slim of ankle

I like the boden espadrilles pity they have not got them in the orange and pink they are my kind of colours.

Have to be a bit careful with bright colours as now a tad older but carefully chosen I can still carry them off.

The Dune shoes are I think a bit too formal for me would wear some off them to the office but not the dark ones they look loike something a maiden aunt would wear!

I like ballet pumps but last time I tried some one they did not look right ended up with some rocket dog pumps (red and black )
however they rubbed my heels like mad so not been able to wear them!
