Hairdresser recommendations (London) please

I used to go to a place in Soho but it's disappeared. I would like a place which is cool but where they won't mind just cutting me a 90s style bob rather than an ombre bleach wolf cut, and where my lack of facial piercings won't stand out. I looked at The Hair Bros but they have no appointments for several months.

Anywhere central or North/East London would be great. I don't mind travelling a bit but a 2 hour schlep to Bromley is not on the cards. I don't mind expensive but I do want someone who can actually cut hair skilfully rather than just blow dry it. Extra points if they give you a beer but not a must.

Any recommendations please?

British Hairdresser of the Year several times, as well as London Hairdresser of the Year too many times to mention. They're all about the quality of the cut.

They recently moved into the old Charles Worthington building (after a refurb) as Charles asked Jamie to takeover his business as he's retiring so they're Covent Garden/Holborn.

They'll give you a prosecco, not sure about beer. (Actually Jamie would rather focus on the hair cut rather than the drinks but seems Charles' clients like a prosecco lol).

I find Bleach very good, think there are Soho, Brixton and Shoreditch locations.

As the name implies they do “trendy” colour, but also good cuts IMO.

FYI for anyone looking for a 'The Hair Bros'-style cut on this thread, I went to Mark Anderson based on these suggestions and the cut he gave me was nothing like the Hair Bros, I would say very 'editorial' and a bit dated rather than flattering/natural. If you're looking for a dramatic early 2000's style haircut that needs a lot of styling, go to him but otherwise save your money! First time I've ever regretted a haircut.
