Best cruelty free skincare brands

Just looking for any recommendations.

I really want to try some new brands. I do a full skin care routine but only use nip and fab at the moment and want to try new things.

So if you have any good suggestions I'd love to hear them

Haeckels. Cruelty free. Impeccable green credentials. Fabulous and innovative skincare. Everything made by hand in Margate and only tested on humans. They put a lot back in to the community.

I came here to say Haeckels too! I had tried a few products but then earlier this year they introduced their subscription box, where you pay around £30 a month and are sent products at least twice that in value. So far products have included a serum, face oil, body lotion, hand wash, perfume and decent (15ml) samples of two moisturisers and a face mask (which I’m using as I type!). It’s such a great way to try products in a very cost effective way.

Expensive - Drunk Elephant, Farmacy, Kate Somerville
Mid range - No7, Naturium
Cheap - Superdrug own ranges eg Simply B, Also Revolution, The Ordinary

Aldi skincare is amazing and all cruelty free!

I also like Haeckels (gorgeous smells) but would also recommend some classic long established brands such as Weleda and Dr Hauschka.

I came to recommend facetheory, I've been very happy with everything I've tried from them and can't live without the spf moisturiser or the vit c cleanser. The makeup is surprisingly good too.

I've been a Haeckels fan since their early days (I spotted their lab/shop in Margate and thought oooh this looks interesting!) and am delighted to see them go from strength to strength.

L'Occitane en Provence have very good green credentials - along with their sister brands Elemis (higher end) and Erborian (their BB cream is incredible).

I thought L'occitane wasn't cruelty free. Has that changed recently?
