Filler recommendations in Leeds

Has anyone got any recommendations for having fillers done in Leeds? Rather have a recommendation as so many options when I google. Have some drooping/line from mouth to chin (called marionette lines) that I’m thinking of having done. Although maybe I need cheek fillers as I read that is the cause and needs to be lifted…thanks 🙂

Evolve at pudsey. Lovely people, very talented, all HCPs & a plastic surgeon on the staff in the event of any issues.

The consultant clinic. I use them in London but they have a Leeds office also

if you google the consultant clinic doesn’t seem great …

any more recommendations that people have used and had natural looking results for a nervous 😬 patient …want to take plunge then think of all the things that could go wrong… don’t want a pillow face just a subtle tweak

It's not quite Leeds but I can recommend Face the Future in Methley. They were mindful of the fact I was a nervous first time client and did mid face filler in a very subtle way - I could tell but my husband has never noticed (and I didn't tell him). Also they refused to give me Botox which I think says a lot about a clinic. They felt it wasn't going to give the results I was looking for.

Good skin days in Guiseley!
Went to them very happily for years (Petra) and then stupidly went to a local salon when I relocated to Lancashire, huge mistake. Petra is amazing and worth every penny 🌟

@Cakey46 sounds like my kind of place …were you happy with the mid face filler? That’s what I need ! Did it help to lift marionette lines?

OP posts:
Cakey46 · 25/07/2023 19:39

I had it done for a bit of lift so my issue was jowly saggy-ness rather than marionettes. Probably best to book a consultation and see what they suggest. I think the cost of consultation is deducted from a recommended treatment. Good luck!

ilovebrie8 · 26/07/2023 08:00

Thanks @Cakey46 how much does it cost?

Not Leeds but not far away ....

Skin & Laser - Boroughbridge

I personally hadn't had filler there but know friends who have and they are very happy with the results.

I’ve been to Evolve in Pudsey - rushed treatments and the nurse injecting didn’t take the time to understand what I wanted. Her face was also over-filled so that should have been a warning. Absolutely shite aftercare too. Think Evolve is okay for non invasive facial treatments, but stay clear of anything else.

I’ve since started going to Elevate in Wakefield. Absolutely amazing. Run by a doctor. Aftercare brilliant - he gets in touch after each treatment to follow up. You get his mobile number and can contact him anytime and I have done as I’m sightless anxious!! A friend went to see him for Botox/fillers and he was completely honest and told her he wouldn’t recommend it because she wouldn’t get the look she wanted to achieve. So she came away having had a 45 min free consultation without being sold/upsold anything. I love that they’re completely honest which is what you’d want. Good luck.

Thanks really useful to hear all this I’m nervous hence asking for recommendations …

I think I have tried to block the cost from my memory banks - i think it was between £500 and £600 but it depends how much filler is used. They start off with a small amount and suggest if you want more to go back once initial treatment has healed but she will refuse to over fill you - I like how no nonsense my lady was. There really was hardly any bruising by the way, it was just a little sore for a few days and as I mentioned before my husband didn't notice, I just said I had been for a facial.

ilovebrie8 · 26/07/2023 19:39

Ouch ! That’s pricey …

I went to asthetic Health in Moortown for years. Beautiful clinic, subtle work and first class care. However it has just become so expensive, the last quote I received from them was through the roof! If you can afford it though I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
I now go to Dr Beja in Headingley. She did my nose to mouth lines. I told her I wanted a v natural look. She did a fantastic job and I’ll be going back to her salon! Lovely person too!

ilovebrie8 · 27/07/2023 09:16

Thanks @Moaningkimono . I wanted marionette lines done but the place I spoke to she says I needed cheek fillers she wouldn’t do marionette lines when I asked she refused and said it’s cheeks I need. The price was ££ do the cheek fillers and seemed a bigger step to me …

Moaningkimono · 27/07/2023 22:15

I’d get a second opinion 👍

QuiltedHippo · 27/07/2023 22:19

Beyou aesthetics near Kirkstall, they don't overdo it - went in wanting tear trough fillers which they wouldn't let me have so don't just want your money. Doctor led clinic

ilovebrie8 · 28/07/2023 21:00

I think I’ll get a second opinion as to what I need…lots of great info on here thanks all 🙂

Doing cheeks instead of the marionettes themselves makes a lot of sense – it’s loss of volume in the cheeks which is ultimately the cause. Filling in the lines can add more heaviness to lower face and exacerbate the problem.

Before you get anything i’d look at the facebook group ‘hyaluronidase damage’.

Don’t let anyone use dissolver on you except in an emergency (e.g. blocked blood vessel).
