Nude tights that look like you aren't wearing tights

I have done a quick search in S and B and haven't found what I am looking for.

After the two glorious weeks of summer in June we have gone back to decidedly autumnal weather, and I am sick of wearing my winter clothes again. I want to wear my midi dresses, but it is too cold for me to go bare legged (it is currently 13 degrees and raining where I live ).

Can anyone suggest some nude tights that look like I have bare legs. My legs are just a normal flesh colour - not too pale and not brown.

Falke Shelina tights come in a range of shades and are virtually undetectable. I suspect Wolford would do something similar too. The cheaper ranges like M&S just don't cut it as you can always tell they're tights.

Yes, I looked in M and S this morning and was unimpressed.

I used to buy "cosmetic tights" from Boots, which looked very natural.

I don't know if they still do them, but if you Google Cosmetic Tights, there are lots of options to choose from.

Yeah, they are expensive but I wore some Wolfords for a special event recently and think they did the trick.

Yep, Wolford's are called Nude 8, slightly finer than the Falke.

Second Wolford's 8 denier. They are virtually invisible, if you get the right fit and colour, but, admittedly, are expensive.

Wilford are expensive, but they are reasonably robust. Just put them in a mesh bag to wash, and they should last quite well.

I buy nude tights from m & s they are from the expensive collection but people are always surprised when I tell them I have tights on

Wolford 8 denier- as recommended by previous posters. Amazing. I made a special trip to John Lewis this afternoon to pick up 2 more pairs.

I used to buy these al the time in the summer when I lived in the U.K. They were very good, particularly at that price point and the open toe was great for evening wear (normal toe are available)

Although the reviews are interesting as they say they have changed since the colours were renamed. I used to use “natural tan” if memory served. But I think for £6, they are worth the try.

We have had 15 degrees and heavy rain showers today @StarlightLady. Joggers with socks and slippers for me. Apart from a couple of weeks in June this summer has been really disappointing weatherwise. The fields are soggy and loads of crops have been flattened, so summer haters can do one as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't want the extreme temperatures that mainland Europe has been enduring, but the constant rain and cool temperatures are so depressing.

I put some on a few days ago and my seven year old son came in and said ‘hmmm orange tights’ 🤔 so I took them off and put them in the bin!
