Ideas on where to buy classic gold earrings?

I'm on the hunt for a lovely pair of gold earrings. I know I don't want dangly or large hoops but open to studs and small hoops. Budget up to £750/£1000.

I don't like fussy, animals, insects, bee etc! I do like modern, simple, timeless but with something a bit different about them.

Can anyone recommend good brands? Thank you for your suggestions.

I like Blue Nile for proper jewellery, as well as browsing local jewellery shop windows.
