What shoes could I wear with this

I've got this dress for an event I have coming up and need to style it. I've lived in trainers and Crocs for the past year so don't have anything suitable.

Would pink or red shoes be ok to give it a pop of colour or stick to plain black?

Obviously will need a heel but not too high. Thanks

I would personally wear black though ( like the strappy ones in the 2nd picture), and maybe have a brighter bag or something

I think a pop of colour would be lovely. But if you're not really a heels person, black might be a better option as greater chance to wear again?
