Where are you buying nice dresses?

Help style experts! I want to buy a nice dress or jumpsuit for a big birthday event in September but I'm in a bit of a rut about where to look. I always seem to default to the same few places I'd get everyday wear (Next, Superdry, Sugarhill etc).

Where are you seeing nice occasion wear at the moment in the £100-£150 price range?

Thanks in advance

Ooh thank you! Not sure why I hadn't thought of Ted Baker, that's where my last occasion dress came from Blush

I got two really nice summer dresses in John Lewis

They have all sorts of brand concessions (the ones I bought were Hobbs and Albaray), and I nearly bought a third one (Ralph Lauren)

I'm really liking Saint & Sofia at the moment. Only recently discovered them but ordered a few things now and they have all been gorgeous quality, fit well and look lovely on.

Brilliant Brilliant, thank you all. Great shout on the Reiss sale, even at first glance there's about 6 I love.

It would help if DH would tell me the venue, but apparently it has to be a surprise. Could be a 5* hotel, could be a field and a portaloo. I suppose you can't ever be overdressed at your own birthday party though?

I managed 10 minutes in our local department store yesterday and bought this in the sale (Ted Baker) as a reserve option. I really like the style and the shape suits me, hadn't envisaged black though, so going back next Saturday with more time to browse.

DH has told me the venue which helps, local hockey club which is fine. A bit rough and ready but private, late licence and great value to hire.
