Comfortable wedge sandals or espadrilles

Looking for recommendations for comfortable wedges, either sandals or espadrilles. I want a pair to complete an outfit for a wedding, though I would like to be able to wear them frequently afterwards.

I ordered some from Next but they were so uncomfortable around the ankle strap so they were sent back.
I have also tried some on in The White Company. The brand were Gaimo. Initially, they were comfortable but I could feel the strap across my foot digging in and rubbing, so I decided to leave it.

I’ve googled comfortable wedges and the fitflop Elouise wedge constantly comes up. Not sure if they are stylish enough. Has anyone got a pair and can recommend or any alternatives?

@JellyComb I have a pair of the Shoe Girls and find them the most uncomfortable shoes, absolutely lovely but I can't use them at all. Mine are off to the recycling bin. I have tried wearing them out for a meal where it's just a walk to the car and nope still hurt!
If you are a 4 and want a silver pair.. let me know.

Birkenstock/Papillo do VERY comfy wedges.

I hurt my foot ages ago and it never healed properly so I need more comfort than most. I can't wear just anything anymore unfortunately. Based on that the only wedges I can get away with are from Timberland (but those prob aren't fancy enough for a wedding) and Geox (you should be able to find something fancy schmancy if you have a look). If you have normal "picky" feet Geox are usually great even when you wear them all day long.

Another brand if you "need" comfort: ig&co (it's Italian don't know how easy you can find it), ecco, hush puppies and vionic (this is the only one I haven't tried in person but everybody keeps saying they're awesome so take it with a pinch of salt).

I’ve had these for five years and they are so comfy - I have plantar fasciitis and they are the only heels I can wear!
