What to wear when dropping by new workplace?

Ok I know this is extremely shallow but just wondering what to wear to drop off some documents at a new workplace (office based)? I did the whole 'formal attire' for the interview already. Are jeans too casual? Sorry it's been a while so not sure what's de rigueur these days! Help! 🙏

Smart casual. Jeans would be fine but no rips.
What would you wear if it was a dress-down friday?

Chinos and a shirt? Jeans and a smart t? Maxi dress and denim jacket?

I would go for a shirt (but oversize, so the fit is loose)
Jeans - classic and nice shoes
earrings/ watch
smart casual but not too much
