I am looking for very comfortable, well supporting trainers that are smart enough to wear for work

Thats it really, I have sprained my ankle previously and now fractured one and i need some really comfy trainers that offer support for the ankle.

I would like some that look smart most likely Plain black so I can wear them for work.

I really don't find flat trainers or bulky trainers comfortable.

And suggestions?

Clarks Nalle Lace are very comfortable, I tried them recently. They come in all black and black and white and are actual leather you can clean and keep smart.

Fitflop rally in black suede/black sole are neater than the black leather/black sole (very health care) or black leather/white sole (too casual) IMO. Can vouch for comfort and support I have a black, a silver, & a print. They do canvas too.
They do fit wide but the slip ons are very low across the instep, laced are better support for delicate ankles.

Try Ecco.

What about Sketchers?

Just a second opinion. I have the fitflop rally trainers in suede. They are narrow and very uncomfortable. I feel like the insole acts like a weird gulley that me feet overhang. I do not have wide feet.
