Ideas please for tops for 85 yr old DM, 4ft 10, with 2 hernias

DM has lost a huge amount of weight recently due to ill health and her clothes are all hanging on her. We're trying to help her find some new clothes, particular a few tops that are wide enough to cover the hernias but not too long as she's shrunk.

She likes a collar or soft scooped round neck.

I've tried the obvious Next, M&S, John Lewis, Dorothy Perkins.

Can anyone suggest somewhere else please?

Thanks in advance

I'm sorry to hear that. What size is she? My nan was a similar height and could fit into teens clothing. If the hernias are large- I'd look at maternity wear in the petite section or smock type tops.

I realise you didn't ask, but you can get a hernia belt which helps protect hernias for being bumped, smooths the look and provides support to them.

These might be nothing like what she is looking for in terms of colour, style etc? They do have sales on and the smaller sizes are often left.

Thanks you so much for your helpful posts. I've ordered a variety of tops now on line and DM will have a try on session once it's all here. We will chuckle at the top of DM wearing a maternity top 😅
