What should DH wear to Wimbledon?

DH has an outdoorsy job and actually no smart clothes, apart from one lovely suit that is about 15 years old!

He’s never been to Wimbledon before, what should he wear? He’ll be with smartly dressed (slightly snooty) people.

Any links to specific products would be good! I know nothing about / don’t much care about men’s fashion!

I went on Wednesday and can confirm the pic BarelyLiterate posted is pretty spot on for guys. I went with my daughter this year, but with my DP last year. He wore beige chinos and a nice shirt, which was fine. (No jacket as it was very hot and we weren’t doing hospitality. )

You might want to check what package/access his brother has (if any) and the dress code. Members enclosure requires a jacket and tie or no entry.

I would just ask, then his brother can also feel gratified that DH is making an effort to fit with his world. If it's a healthy sibling relationship ofc, and DH cares enough to, and DB can be trusted not to mislead him for his own entertainment.

I sympathise! I can scrub up well enough if I have to, and will make the effort, but sometimes I just don't care.

Chinos, Deck shoes and a Ralp Lauren shirt or even a RL polo shirt.
Spend the budget on the shirt and shoes and a good belt .
