Struggling to dress

I’m petite but have a difficult body shape and I’m not sure how to dress. Any advice would be great

My waist is defined but my hips have these deep, deep indents and almost look square. Without the indents I’d probably be pear shaped. My hips are also quite high up so things tend to hang on me weirdly. I have attached a photo from google as an example.

I feel embarrassed. Ideally I’d wear clothes that are fitted at the waist but skim my hips or flare out, but that’s not really in stores. Current fashion just seems to be quite fitted on the hip so I’m stuck wearing jackets that cover them

What about those 1950s style fit and flare dresses? I’m sure you can find them online. Or a dress with a pleated skirt? The pleats could skim the indents.

Thank you! Dresses tend to be my go to but I’m seriously lacking in trousers, leggings, jeans etc. everyone always says my legs are on show but it’s just to hide my hip area!
