City Holiday Wardrobe and Sun Cream

Have just booked to go to Italy in August. We’re staying in a city and travelling by train to other locations. My holiday clothes are really only suitable for the beach so I was thinking of buying some dresses on Vinted. I have fair skin and dont want to spend a fortune on dresses which will get ruined by SPF30. Alternatively I was thinking of buying some linen/ cotton shirts so that I am covered up. I don’t want or need a tan, short and 50+.

I use Ultrasun spf 30 sports gel. It's clear and doesn't stain clothing

And Nivea Sun UV face Sensitive 50. Best I've tried, as it does not sting the eyes when you ahem "glow" I mean sweat of course. The gel mentioned upthread is great too.
