Hairdryer for fine hair, long pixie cut?

Hair dress recommended GHD Helios (they sell) but reading reviews it seems too powerful for my flat hair. I can’t work out if they are ionic / ceramic.

Every raves about Parlux, what is so special about them other than salon quality?

Budget is not an issue but I am wondering if something simpler from Babyliss or Remington would actually be better?

Thank you for any pointers.

I have fine straight hair. It's a bob. I have had a GHD for quite a long time. I think it's ionic. I have been happy enough that I have bought a travel version. It has three settings so you can be a bit more gentle if you want.

Thank you, that helps. I have GHD straighteners and love them, so fancy the dryer but don’t want to be “sold” if hat makes sense.

I have fine hair in a longish pixie and use a Dyson airwrap. I know that sounds odd as it’s best known for curling but I love the drying attachment for getting 80% rough dried followed by either the barrel bristle brush or the smoothing brush for the last bit of drying and styling. It’s a one hand job so I’m not juggling heavy hairdryer and brush in two hands.
