Today I have toned down my hair from bleach blonde to more subtle highlights
Does it look better ?
It's still weird not seeing myself so blonde

Yup a shit load!

ShirleyPhallus · 30/06/2023 16:34

Looks 100x better, so much more natural. Really lovely.

you could always get the ends highlighted more and a bit more blonde around your face next time if you’re still missing it

Blarn · 30/06/2023 16:36

Totally. Looks softer, healthier and younger - not that the previous shade would have made you look older but it looks quite dated.

hamsterballs · 30/06/2023 16:40

Million times better

LolaSmiles · 30/06/2023 16:42

The second looks more natural. The blend between the highlights and darker sections are subtle.

pilates · 30/06/2023 16:45

A million times better - love it

missfliss · 30/06/2023 16:47

It's really lovely

checkmyshirtout · 30/06/2023 16:51

Thankyou
Would you add more highlights next time?
But my hair can't handle bleach
It breaks /snaps etc and as you can tell by 1st pic the condition goes awful

Would you stick with what I have and every 5 ish months just get a few highlights on the top section?
Not a full head etc

I would keep it as you have it now, it's gorgeous!

wearesuceeding · 30/06/2023 17:01

I am saving your new hairstyle to show my hairdresser. It looks incredible

whoruntheworldgirls · 30/06/2023 17:15

Looks amazing

Atthebeachonalilo · 30/06/2023 17:21

Your new hair colour is just perfect

GoodVibesOnlyPlease · 30/06/2023 17:22

It looks stunning! Maybe ask your hairdresser about a high lift tint rather than bleach. It still creates blonde but without the damage of bleaching it.

Loads better!

It looks so much better. Just get some highlights every 3 months. I'm the same I've gone from bleached, to toned down natural blonde hair. It looks so much better and Mt hair's no longer snapping off.

WellThatWasInteresting · 30/06/2023 17:41

A million times better!

PinkLazyApple · 30/06/2023 17:46

Very classy

TheTurn0fTheScrew · 30/06/2023 17:48

Really like it. I've done a similar journey - was previously very over bleached, but am now mostly natural dark blonde with a little subtle balayage.

In fact I've been delaying going to the hairdresser as my regular chap retired, and I'm nervous about being too blonde again.

Oblomov23 · 30/06/2023 17:55

Love it, so much better.

SunnyEgg · 30/06/2023 17:56

Yes really good job

3dogsnorth · 30/06/2023 18:12

Looks really nice! Can I ask did you do it yourself and if so, what did you use. I'm similar colouring and getting a toner at the hairdresser every 4 weeks to prevent brassiness!

pilates · 30/06/2023 18:15

I would keep it as it is

checkmyshirtout · 30/06/2023 18:22

@3dogsnorth I didn't no ,the hairdresser saved my hair
After years of dodgy ones, think I've found a good one
