Where to shop if just 5ft, over 50 and apple shape?

As title suggests. I am not much over 5ft, over 50 with a tummy to hide. Where do you suggest looking to shop for everyday clothes? M&S short trousers are no longer short enough, their petite line are always sold out. Anywhere else I could look?

Next Petite range is quite good - inside leg length is 27.5 inches

Tu at Sainsburys often has good basics and some really nice pieces - inside leg for their short length is 26 inches

Thanks I haven't looked at Sainsburys, so may have a look

I'm 5ft and mid 40s and I love Tu at Sainsbury's. I bought some lovely jumpsuits (yes I know these divide opinion but I love mine!) Their petite fits me nicely and they have some nice clothes which aren't frumpy and are just quirky enough to be a bit different without 40-sonething me looking like a try hard twat 😁

Next / m and s. You have more selection on line. Reiss has a petite but comes up small. Go up a size

look at cropped trousers as full length and midi dresses as maxi.
i am 5’0 53 and an apple !
also Zara. Just bought this jumpsuit and it’s perfect at full length for me.

I think it is more about looking at what your body shape is and enhancing your best features based on that. I follow Capsule Closet Stylist as she has lots of info about this age group and practical advice too.

This is me but I’m just under 50!

M&s petite online is much better than the other high street stores. But the search facility on the website is shocking, there are so many blips in it. If you search ‘petite’, not ‘womens petite’ then you get the petite results and you need to filter it so that it is only M&S clothes that come up. I then re-order the results for new arrivals first. I’ve bought loads of petite dresses this summer and they’ve been great. Some petite tops too.

sainsburys petite, white stuff petite and Boden petite all good too. But the sizes often sell out, and again only available online.

I see that seasalt does petite too, and seasalt is generally good for apple shapes.
