Botox for 11 lines

I'm provisionally booked to have Botox Saturday. I'm 36. I only want my 11 lines doing. DH not overly happy but says it's my face. Is it really worth it? I am very aware of the line, it's a permanent fixture and hate how make-up sits in it. I've attached some pics to show how it looks at various grimaces...

The person doing it is a nurse and comes highly recommended.

I'd go with filler on the 11 and Botox. You won't need the filler redone for at least 2 years if you keep up the Botox.

Greydover, the go should have offered you a review and redone it. Get a nurse who loves doing aesthetics to do it next time, Botox should always be effective (unless you get the dreaded antibodies)

I went back two weeks later for a top up. She let slip that she was shocked by my (lack of) results. Put some more in and still nothing. I was disappointed because I thought with a GP it would be done well and effective. Apparently some people are just immune to Botox. I’m not sure whether to waste my money again!

She said it should last anywhere between 3/6 months.

When mine wears off, my family will ask why I am cross! It drove me mad in covid.

My appointment is shortly. I am feeling nervous 😂 and wondering if I'm being silly getting it done! I can't stop looking at the line and thinking it'll get worse!

Don't be nervous! It doesn't hurt and the line will definitely not be worse. Best of luck x

So jealous of you all!

I have a 1 line and got Botox done by a GP - it didn’t make an ounce of difference!

They must have done it wrong. It's bloody amazing stuff.

sureigot20 · 01/07/2023 18:48

Glad I went. Turns out we have a lot of mutual colleagues and friends! Didn't hurt at all. Had two areas done, £175. Will post pics when I see the results. Very pleased I went. She looks incredible, she does her own.

Oh and it didn't hurt. Stung a little in one area but it was honestly fine!

Just a word of caution that, if the 11 lines are there even when your face is resting (like mine are) then Botox May soften them but unlikely to remove them completely. I was told I would need filler for that and don’t want to go down that road!

I have just 11's done. It's fine to have one area to begin with. Best money I spend!

OP how did it work out in the end? How long did it last?
