Dress for mother's 94th birthday party

I bought this, but not sure because of the twist in the middle - it feels really unflattering. I normally love Jigsaw and I like this print and length. Any other suggestions please?

I think it and you look stunning, I really like it, saying that, if you don't feel it in that dress then maybe go a different way. The way a dress makes you feel makes a huge difference, but I think it's really lovely.

My phone can't enlarge your pics, but from what I can see, it looks like it fits you beautifully! Very flattering, I'd say.

If you want a few alternative ideas, what's your budget/size? And are you open to other colours or would you prefer similar pinks/blues ditsy floral type?

You're all really kind but ... it feels as if there is this lump where the material twists and it cancels my waist.

Budget around £100 - £150, size 8, this sort of length.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received. I tend to do French Connection and Jigsaw, but less impressed with the latter this year.

This dress is 25 years old but I like the style if it were much longer.
