Last minute dress for funeral

Just tried on my trusty dress and I’m too big for it 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
i have 45 mins tomorrow morning to race to M&S/ next /monsoon all in local shopping store to get something.
funeral is for colleague’s mum, will be formal but lots of young grandchildren so not “just” plain black. Her favourite colour was red so thinking a plain black midi/maxi dress from next and team with a light red scarf of earrings? is this appropriate? Thank you in advance!

Both Next and M&S have a “find in store” feature online, so you could check what each one has that’s suitable to make your shopping trip quicker.
