Business trip to manufacturing environment

New job and whilst I'm office staff, the trip I'm in is to a manufacturing site so might need health and safety garb.
Usual dress isn't appealing so need another outfit. Trousers and blouse with blazer or is that not so much a thing/ too casual? It's deffo not a suit job and even dress and jacket will be too formal. Help!

I work in an office connected to a manufacturing site. Women wear tailored trousers with smart t-shirt/midi dresses/midi skirt with blouse or smart t-shirt. And some days leggings with long tops. More loose cardigans than blazers but both are fine.

Main thing is wear something you can easily get a hi vis over, and don't forget socks if you're changing into safety boots.

How much safety gear might you need?
Yes to (thick) socks.
Hair able to be tied back, but under a hard hat.
Personally, I'd cover my legs, so trousers. But I'm not a big skirt/dress fan! With a shirt if in meetings all day, or a teeshirt if I'm going on plant.

Safety shoes, goggles and white coat probably . So a dress wafting about might not be ideal. Nor is trying to put safety shoes on bare feet. So tights (though hot? Urgh ) or socks might be better
