what's it like? Some of the stuff online looks very reasonable.

What are the sizes like?

TIA

ooh I didn't know they had an online shop. I've bought a few cardigans from there and a jersey. Their trousers do not fit me at all - I think they are too narrow or something. And my legs are too short for them. They used to have some quite nice 100% cotton undies too but last time I went in, they didn't have any.

sizes run pretty true ime
cashmere good value
dh lurves their shirts and tshirts

6 years ago it used to be good... now they only spend money in their marketing campaigns

Once you wash the clothes...that;s it!

save your hard earned money and go somewhere else!

I've just started shopping there, online. I only buy T-shirts.

I like them because the ones I choose are quite long (I am long in the body and many t-shirts from other shops are 23 or 24 inch - too short). Also, they have some nice colours. Also they are cheap (less than a tenner).

The sizes are about right IME but they do shrink/warp a little bit. The quality is not the best but not that bad and not as bad as some more expensive t-shirts. I've washed some several times and they are still ok.

Cheap and cheerful for everyday wear.

Thanks all. The sizes are S M L XL - what would a size 16/18 be?

the jeans are fabbo. cut to accommodate bigger bottoms ,IME . knits also gorgeous. sizes seem pretty accurate and reliable across the range.

In fact, I would compare them to the GAP, in terms of good quality jeans/knits/basics, but they are considerably cheaper.
I'm lucky my local branch is the flagship store!

PerkinWarbeck · 23/02/2008 08:10

I'm 14-16 and normally L, so L/XL for 16-18. Jeans are just marked in normal dress sizes.

Tommy · 23/02/2008 21:23

thanks everyone - I think I will try them out. I only do cheap and cheerful everyday wear so it sounds ideal
