Rainy summer footwear

I desperately need casual footwear for a city break during the summer. I'd hoped to wear my sketchers for alot of wandering round, but one downpour and they're soaked.

So, comfy-ish, keep most of the rain out, pref wide fit so not converse-type...any suggestions?

Leather trainers?

Leather trainers, flip flops or saltwater sandals as they're all water proof

That said I wore my leather sandals the other day during a torrential downpour and they're absolutely fine

I've been wearing my Adidas Stan Smiths - comfy and waterproof.

Leather trainers here too. My sandals will tolerate a bit of rain, but I hate the feeling of wet feet in sandals.

Also, I wear Docs in all seasons.
