Summer shoes that cover my toes

I have one weird toe (!) that I’d like to cover as much as possible but still be able to wear cool (in both senses of the word…) footwear in the summer with dresses etc. I’m looking for flats / tiny broad heel (not kitten) for every day in standard neutral colours eg black, tan, white, gold, silver - but also wouldn’t mind a low/mid block heel or wedge for weddings etc. I’ve got one great pair of bright slingbacks but despite ordering various others nothing has fitted right (narrow on toes or ankle slips out of strap etc). I don’t mind not having my toes completely covered but would prefer sandals to have a strap / coverage in that area so they’re not too on show. Fisherman sandals would probably work but I think they look a bit clunky for what I want. Any ideas please?

TIA!

Look up cage toed sandals, that tends to bring up things like this

Thanks for the reply. That’s sort of what I meant by the fisherman sandals. They just make me think of old people or little kids (like the jelly shoes). I was just wondering if someone had happened to find a style of sandal that just covered that area a bit more than they usually do.

Are huarache sandals any good? I admit I’ve not tried them but I’ve seen them recommended on here before.
