Short sleeved knee length dress summer

I’m after short sleeved knee length dresses for summer, sort of work suitable but doesn’t have to be work wear. Don’t mind if it’s above knee but not too far above.

No mini dresses or midi dresses. No dresses with loads of material (swing?)

Saw someone wearing a lovely dress which wax mostly white with a red print, sort of squares and which fitted my criteria. Wish I’d asked her where it was from now!

Any ideas?

If anyone else is planning on ordering that green Oliver Bonas dress, be warned it comes up MASSIVE. I ordered a 10 and it looks more like a 16, was falling off me.

Oversized is the trend these days but that’s ridiculous.

I’ll try to post links and pics tomorrow but got a Sosander dress and a Next one today and both are great. Knee length, cool, short sleeves and flattering.

@Eve and @JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn - wow thanks so much for the links! The green House of Bruar dress is just me in style and colour and the Finery ones are very nice and on sale too!

I found some in mountain warehouse, I’d gone in for something else and wasn’t expecting dresses! I’ve got the sorrento dress in Stripes and another red spots, it has pockets! And it’s a stretch cotton. Some dresses were more sport wear fabric which are appropriate for me at work but might work for you. I’ve had lots of compliments on it.

I got an oversized sort of Aztec pattern dress a couple of weeks ago, swing but only one size. I belted it go pull in the waist but am going to take it in as it’s still so oversized (a nice dress though).

I get why oversized is cooler in heat and for some figures more flattering.

OB is renowned for coming up big! As I mentioned before now they’ve concentrated on their own fashion designs it’s got much better! Their jewellery may have waned. Got a gorgeous unusual pair of earrings from there last spring went back to get them for a friend and they’d sold out. Their sales can be good.

Having a nightmare with my 14 year old daughter smoking(might be my fault as I also smoke) I started at 14 so how can I forbid my daughter to smoke when I do the same but what I can't understand is she hated it growing up and keep saying I am never going to smoke is it my fault she smokes it's not her friends as she got them to start so to see her smoking I really what her to stop but I don't want to stop so should I let her smoke she been smoking about a year now and says she is addicted and I know how hard it is to quit as I have tried a failed I know her order started smoking around the same time but she's at uni now so she only smokes outside when she is home so do I so should I let her smoke as I let her sister smoke when she turned 15 x
