Will black patent loafers go with this dress?

As per the title...plan to wear this dress to work tomorrow but can't decide if this would be a fashion crime or not!

Only other options are black toeless sandals, or white trainers.

Fashion crime!! Patent is quite heavy looking and not summery. Sandals or trainers would look lighter and more in keeping!! Love the dress though.
