Anyone finding charity shops charging a premium for St Michael ( Marks and Spencer)?

I’ve noticed that charity shops have started charging more for St Michael items and noting it on their labels. Anyone else noticed this?

I've not noticed, but I can see why. I have acquired a pair of St Michael pyjamas from my mum. They cotton quality is incredible. You wouldn't find dresses made from this quality/weight of cotton. I'm not sure when I will wear them, but I can't bear to give them up.

In my area they're charging more for everything, not just St Michaels. We have rails of Primark and supermarket clothes for almost the same price as they would have originally sold for, and in some cases they're actually more expensive than the original price.

I feel daft saying it, but I've had to stop going into a few shops as I can't afford the prices.

I’ve seen people I follow on Instagram post about how much better the quality of St Michael clothing is. Also how they’ve found the items in charity shops so I assume the shops have put prices up accordingly

Old St Michaels clothing does seem to be bombproof though. I still have a thick wrap cardi that has been worn every winter (and washed every so often) for work for 30 years. It's barely scathed.
