VERY easy updo for shoulder length hair

I’m at a ball tonight and think hair up would look better with my dress but all I know what to do is a pony tail… Is there an easy up do I can do?! I am very low maintenance with hair and it may not be long enough for an updo anyway? It’s just below shoulders.

That's what I was (probably badly) describing. It's the easiest.

@NatashaDancing thank you for the demos! It’s such an easy and classy look. I’ve also done just the pony pulled through and decorate the hollow with a clip or similar, and either straight or wavy pony depending on the outfit. Looks so much more than the effort it takes (why I do this lol as I’m dreadful with hair)

Meant to add - when done simply as a pulled through pony - the height/where the pony tail is placed makes a huge difference in how the hair sits; worth playing around with
