Body positive images for teens

Due to a health condition my DD13 is larger than she would like to be & than all the images she is seeing in clothing advertisements for her age. The clothes she like she doesn't feel she can wear because she's bigger than the models. She's never been bothered about her size but it's getting to her now & she's feeling self conscious.
I never discuss being unhappy with my weight & embrace my body but inevitably she's getting outside influence. Where can I find body positive advertising for clothes for teens to share with her?

I can't help on the clothings, but there are several movements that con help for self-perception.

Embrace Kids is exactly what you want. It is a documentary that you can rent or buy. The original one was for adults . You can read about it here https://bodyimagemovement.com/embrace/embrace-kids/ and the trailer of the documentary is here

Dove has also a similar program https://www.dove.com/uk/dove-self-esteem-project.html . They also have some short videos on YouTube

I hope your daughter gets better soon. 💐for both.

Thanks @Passerillage I didn't know there was a Teen Vogue! I've sent her the link as I've been trying to get her into a magazine since outgrowing The Week Junior. She may not read it but drip feeding stuff is good.

@AnIntrovert thank you. She's having such a hard year she really doesn't need this to worry about. I'll take a look at the links you've sent. Meanwhile I may have begun encouraging a shoe & accessory obsession 😊

Just read your other post on diagnosis. I am so sorry for your daughter . Any development, new angle?

A shoe obsession sounds great to me!!

@AnIntrovert thank you for asking that's very kind.
She's worsened over the last 6months & had to revert to online learning in Jan. Friends haven't been great, she's lost several & others are lacking in empathy which is why I admire that girl on the other thread for calling out shoddy behaviour. A result of shoddy parenting imho.
She has no control over the effects on her physical appearance which is why I'm a bit defensive about that too. But she's the bravest, strongest child in her school. We're incredibly proud of her.

When I was quite unwell & ballooned in weight I developed a trainer obsession so I'm passing on the baton.....just for now Smile
