I hate the super high waist stuff, it is either chunky elasticated or has so much crotch fabric i look like a sack of spuds.
I dont want the super low waist back but jesus cripes, what are we all accepting here? I was a 90's teen, and whilst i dont wish to dress like that again, i would welcome the more streamlined shapes. I cant find a pair of linen trousers anywhere at any price that dont look like a deflated balloon with a cheap elasticated waistband.
What is it with the 3 inch corrugated waistbands? Is it growing waistlines, or some trend i havent got the hang of yet? I imagine most of us want find a good fit anywhere since the products are so cheap and shitty. I bet most of us would prefer a flat waist band in suitable sizes. I remember being 18 and shunning this stuff because it made me look awful, and i was so slim.
Can i ask why people my age (50) do it now?
