Why are men's clothes so much nicer than women's?

Today I went on a mission to find some light summer tshirts on the high street ( or what remains of it). I wanted:
V neck
100% cotton
Cap or half sleeves
Deep solids rather than pale pink, blue or yellow which don't suit me. Not black or white; have those already
Not floral
Not cropped but not oversize either. Just regular size.

The only place I could find all this was in the men's section at Uniqlo, where I bought 3 Supima cotton tees in the XS. I could have bought more. The colours were lovely in the men's. In the women's, it was all dusty pink, muted blue and white or black. Or cropped.

I know! I often buy men's socks and knitwear for the better quality and colour choices.

Yep. Better quality, better material, better value.

Oh good, not just me. I also buy basic knitwear from the men's section. Like if I want a plain blue or black jumper which is not acrylic- just cotton or wool- so much easier to find it in the men's.

I always buy men's socks because they don't do women's socks in my size. I like the designs of mens socks so it isn't an issue for me

I have a men's hoody from M&S. It is much thicker and warmer than any women's hoody I've ever owned.

Because they make them less fast. Women’s are clothes are made in the masses and often to make lots of cheap clothing you have to sew quick, and the less features you have the quicker and simplify it is to make a garment.

Have you noticed women barely get as many pockets and we tend to have lots of stretch cheap fabrics instead of well made woven materials like men’s clothing?

Its because it’s made cheap and fast to catch up to stupid demand.

You can find well made women’s clothing, just not from stores with hundreds of samples. You will just have to pay a little more.

Men don’t buy clothes as often as women are told we ought to, so if shops want men to buy their clothes, they need to make them decent. Sad but true.
