layers around face?

Tutter · 21/02/2008 13:30

or just a bit of a fringe? doesn't have to be blunt and heavy

deaconblue · 21/02/2008 13:30

get it cut, no long hair on the over 35's imo
It looks good shoulder length how it is now but also will look nice just below chin length I reckon.

DualCycloneCod · 21/02/2008 13:32

its very long atm - below collar bone.

its droops

I agree with layers.

Though I had some v light layers done at the front and I found them quite annoying at first so if you get layers done from straight hair, don't let them go overboard. Just do a few at the front first.

Tutter · 21/02/2008 13:33

what face shape do you have?

mine oval - long-ish - so need a fringe

Is there not websites where you can post a pic of yourself and then try out different hairstyles?

scattyspice · 21/02/2008 13:35

As Tutter says layers. I had a fringe cut before Xmas (to hide wrinkles) which was ok but a bit straight across (looked like librarian). Now its grown out a bit so around face rather than across the front. Looks much better IMO (can't see very well though).

DualCycloneCod · 21/02/2008 13:35

deaconblue · 21/02/2008 13:37

get it bloody cut, below collar bone too long, you will look mutton.
Do as I say and go a couple of inches below chin

Tutter · 21/02/2008 13:37

agree no longer than shoulder length

between jaw and shoulder in fact

all the benefits of long hair (your dh will like it and you can tie it back) but will be better condition and look funkier

colour, yes

if v small forrid then no fringe

my forrid epic

hmmm what sort of fringe do you have tutter?

I am a conehead extraordinaire but don't have a fringe because it makes me feel (and look) a bit stepford wifey.

I am now wondering if I should hmm. Have sort of layers that now (supposedly) sweep across gigantic forehead but in reality, just hand down the side.

Tutter · 22/02/2008 13:45

mine's pretty full and blunt, tbh

it helps to widen my face

without it i really do look like the Scream mask
