Can we talk about the M&S beauty box?

Husband bought it me the other week as he'd been clothes shopping. Had a quick look and took a couple of bits out that looked interesting then forgot about it. Have just had a sniff of the perfume and OMG it's a Chanel dupe - lovely! Smells just like CoCo Mademoiselle which I used to wear. Literally can't tell the difference.

Has anyone else got it and found any stand-out products? Any other perfume dupes out there that I should know about?

I was impressed with the perfume too! I currently wear coco
mademoiselle but this has made me rethink my next purchase. I quite like the face mist as well, and the this works leg serum isn’t too streaky. I’m not convinced by all the hair products though, but they’ve not made mY hair any worse so I’ll try to remember to use them.

Haven't tried the leg serum yet, is it a fake tan?

I really like it and I wouldn't have tried the perfume if it hadn't been in the box so that's a win!

Sales assistant in M&S told me about the perfume being a dupe as she has the original too. The nail varnish is a bit alarming (unless you have a better skin tone than mine!).

I have curly hair. The hair products are fantastic for me. Also love the perfume, but That nail polish is possibly divisive. I’m wrapping it for dds birthday but don’t think she will like it either.

Ph interesting! Mine is curly too and at first glance the ingredients looked curly girl friendly so maybe I’ll give them a proper try

Definite thumbs up from me. I've purchased their perfumes before - and they are really excellent value.

I hate the perfume - but I hate one or two Chanel perfumes so maybe that's why. Can't stand Chanel no.5. I hate patchouli as a scent and notice it's in the perfume. On the other hand, the overnight hair product smells divine!

The Clinique moisturizer is a classic - had it 25 years ago in the run up to my wedding.

Agree the nail varnish is a bit bright!! Dd 13 loves it though.

What is the perfume. I’m not going to buy the box but I’m intrigued/nosy at what this scent is even though I had no idea what CoCo Mademoiselle smells like !

It's called Soft Iris.

I love the Aveda hair stuff and like the Clinque. Haven’t tried perfume yet

Nail polishes have no place in beauty boxes, what are the chances of them ever being used? They're always random weird colours.

I love nail polishes in beauty boxes. I like the fact they're 'random and weird' because I can try out colours I wouldn't have probably bought for myself and I've had many happy surprises. Worse case scenario you can use them on your toes.

I really like the nail polish! And as the poster said before, I wouldn't have chosen it, but I think it's quite fun for summer. Also thought Clinique products are probably just overpriced due to brand / marketing, but am loving that moisturiser too.

I got this yesterday and there was no nail varnish in it but I got a bar of soap instead 🤷‍♀️
