which Birkenstock colour (that goes with everything esp black)

my black Arizonas gave up the ghost after many year so need a new pair. I just cannot decide in colour. My wardrobe is based on a lot of black/muted colours. I do not do colour well. It's also laziness as everything goes with everything.

I am a bit fed up with the black Arizonas and would like to pick a different colour - one that goes well with the other stuff in my wardrobe. Anyone any recommendations? I thought maybe the Mocha ones but not sure if they are too brownish?

The colour you need is stone. Goes with everything. Like a sort of muted khaki, lovely colour.

I agree with the pp. I have two similar pairs that might be what you're looking for, one a light grey and one the colour of cotswold stone. They're both equally useful.

Silver or pick a neutral colour that you wear a lot - my favourite is navy blue.

My mistaken purchase was a very woody brown suede. It's a proper hippy sandal and that's not my look at all so they don't get worn. At some point I'll give in and call them house shoes!

White

I would think if the rest of your outfit is muted then something really contrasting.. bright red or rose gold.

I'm not sure if this colour is still in use but I had black iridescent ones in a snake skin pattern , there wasn't much the didn't go with.

I am wearing iridescent snakeskin ones now, they do go with pretty well anything but not sure if they are still available. I also have some black/silver iridescent snakeskin ones.

I have black and taupe Arizonas but recently bought a new silver pair and they are great! I tend to wear quite plain (boring?) clothes and not much colour and these work with everything.

I had muted gold mayaris which were great and they went with loads.

I also have them in fuschia which is surprisingly "neutral".

Just bought some Arizonas in antique white - I find them a bit more feminine than stone but still neutral enough to go with everything!

I have a pair in ‘graceful taupe’ that’s a slightly metallic (but not too obviously shiny/glittery) taupe colour. I find it fairly flexible because it works well with brown and navy as well as black/grey.

I have Mayaris in Graceful Pearl which are really lovely. A pearly, warm silver which goes with everything.

I have these and they are so comfortable but they're too shabby looking for me to wear outside the house.

For outside I prefer the hard leather ones

I have rose gold Arizonas and i pair with gold jewellery. I love them lots.

I have bronze Madrids and they go with everything.

Their shade of silver seems to work with nearly everything.
