Evening cover up for this dress

I have just bought this dress from Anthropologie, and absolutely love it. However I need some kind of evening cover-up, some kind of jacket or cardigan, but I can’t think of what would be suitable. I am size 12 and 5’5”. Ideally I’d like something in a grey or taupe sort of a shade. Any ideas?

A wrap cardigan like this? Cropped so it fits with the waist of the dress

Thanks for the replies. A wrap cardigan woulkd seem like a good choice - but the one I have squishes the pouffy sleeves down too much, therefore a poncho is a great idea!
