Tried dds dove body lotion and it looked ok but went very streaky.
Have skinny tan but hate the guide colour and having to wait.

Really want something easy to slap on my legs!

What about the Dove mousse?

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 06/06/2023 17:26

Skinny Tan coconut serum. There’s no guide colour so you can put it on and go about your day.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs was perfect I found. No mess, no streaks. I don’t imagine it’s waterproof though (I can’t remember) so not great if you want something longer lasting.

MsSquiz · 06/06/2023 17:32

I use this works perfect legs skin miracle. It's not a huge colour change but it evens out any imperfections and gives a natural hint of colour.
The only thing is, it isn't waterproof

Garnier Body Gradual Tan is pretty forgiving. Think you have to be really careful with the conventional mousses, sprays etc. with exfoliating, using a mitt where necessary. I've tried St Tropez mousse, St Moritz mousse , Isle of Paradise spray, Clarins drops, Bondi Sands mousse and keep going back to the Garnier stuff as it doesn't stink or stain.

Yetisrus · 06/06/2023 17:46

I uee Garnier Summer Body, it doesn't streak and you slap on like normal body lotion

MuchasSmoochas · 06/06/2023 17:48

Try using a kabuki brush, it’s really good to avoid streaks

Bananaman123 · 06/06/2023 18:57

I’ve recently tried the lighter shade in primary mouse, looks ok but guide colour. I also thing bondi sands or the skinny tan gradual tanning lotions are good,no streaks. The skinny tan drop for face are fab too

Rainbowshit · 07/06/2023 19:56

Garnier gradual tan is pretty idiot proof. I use a mitt.

I use the one off Rimmel sunshimmer in light, it is actually darker than that but suits me fine. I don't get on well with the instant tan where you have to wait for it to develop, I am like a brown and white zebra, it is difficult to get it right, well for me anyway!

I use a mitt, and can see it there and then, leave it to dry off for a few minutes, and it doesn't transfer once dried, well at least it hasn't for me anyway. Some days I don't need it, if I am wearing trousers, but for dresses it works a treat. It washes off, so I need to reapply every day if necessary. I don't mind that, at least I can get the coverage right.

Cocoa brown mousse with a mitt - you can see the colour immediately and it develops overnight. I pop in at night and it’s perfect the next morn or else I put on in the morning and go.

Skinny Tan coconut serum. There’s no guide colour so you can put it on and go about your day.

I got this in a bundle last year or 2021. Do you have to exfoliate and how is it around feet/elbow area?

Never really been sure what to do with it.

I’ve used most tanning creams like Garnier Summer body and also Rimmel Sun shimmer. I prefer these to proper fake tan which I always find hard to get a good result from.
