most gentle way to heat style hair

So the consensus was irons are bad, they fry the hair and cause breakage.
Heated brushes smooth the hair quicker and easier, and dont flatten, but did dry mine out.
Gone back to blow drying recently, was shiny and bouncy for a while but now feels a bit dry again. I use redken products to protect.

Whatever product i use, it loses its power after a few weeks, no matter how much of a miracle it felt like at first, anyone else noticed this? It's as if the products become less useful over time, or your hair becomes immune to them!

Is blow drying still the gentlest way to heat style, do you think?

My hair is strong so not too bad but i dont want to dry naturally as it frizzes up even in great health.

Ditch the Redken and use L'Oréal extra ordinary oil an damp hair. I blow dry and finish off with a One Step and never have any issues with dryness or breakage. It's great stuff and lasts ages as you only need a little.

Thanks, is the one step the revlon hot brush or a blow dry brush?

I use redken anti snap, which was great at first but now feels really crunchy and dry, i wonder if there's too much protein in it.
