....how do you work out in advance the postage? Via Yodel or Evri etc?

You don’t it’s on the buyer to sort and pay for the postage

NeedANewPhone1 · 05/06/2023 08:22

You don't need to. The buyer selects and pays for postage and Vinted provides a label. Except Royal Mail - you get money for that so make sure you estimate the size correctly - slSmall will only give you enough for Large Letter.

You can choose which postage methods you offer if you can't offer all of them.

Blueroses99 · 05/06/2023 08:24

The seller has to select parcel size: small, medium, large or custom. That’s it. If you click into the information, it does give size/weight limits but (other than Royal Mail) they are pretty flexible. Sellers can also restrict which postage options are available so if one isn’t convenient (eg Yodal store in on the other side of town for me), you can take away the option so buyers can’t select it.

Ah, ok! Thanks. That's really helpful

Once someone has bought your item, Vinted will email you the postage label.

Cyclingmummy1 · 05/06/2023 17:57

@jkkkk Then you can either print the label at home or print it in store.

Bananaman123 · 05/06/2023 18:54

Also, if you choose not to ship by a certain carrier you can change that in settings. For me using Royal Mail is a pain in the arse so that’s turned off for me. Be aware too, you might need to use lockers if by inpost, which is ok mostly unless there are never any free lockers (ours are at local Morrisons and Lidl).
