Anyone ever used teeth whitening trays?

A lot more affordable compared to laser whitening but I don't really know much about them, anyone have any experience?

Yes, and I was really pleased with the result. It's worth having them made to fit by a dentist.

You can either wear them overnight or for a shorter period during the day, depending on what you can tolerate. I don't love them but if I put them in last thing at night, once I'm asleep they don't bother me.

After your teeth are whitened, they remain quite porous for some time so it's important to avoid red wine, strong tea etc or you'll undo all the good work.

@highlandcoo thank you for your reply, so do they last a certain amount of time before they stop working their magic?

Laser whitening is way too expensive. I used crest stripes and this whitening powder. Both are good in my opinion

@clairem88 I always assumed products like that were a waste of money but maybe I will give those a try, thank you.

The trays will last for ages and you buy syringes of the whitening product which have a shelf-life of a year or two ( I think).

The whitening effect lasts a long time - depending on how long you avoid staining drinks like red wine etc - but eventually will need to be redone or at least topped up to get the same result.

@highlandcoo oh wow, better then I expected. Definitely worth the money then. Thank you!
