Question for women who wear safety shoes for work

What trousers do you wear in the summer?

I usually wear thin, summery trousers with sandals in the summer, to keep cool. I now work somewhere where I have to wear safety shoes all the time (as opposed to be able to wear other footwear and just put safety shoes on when I need to). I have size 8 feet so my work shoes are far from dainty and my usual summer trousers will look silly with them.

If you wear safety shoes for work, what trousers do you wear in the summer?

I have to wear safety shoes and I wear wide leg trousers. I like them quite floaty and they are quite cool in the summer. I've got a couple of navy linen pairs and a light cheap black pair which I got from Vinted but I think are Matalan. It's super annoying, I'm trying to find a less bulky safety shoe but the only ones seem to be trainer type, which I may try with leggings.

I wear chinos, Navy or khaki.

I have to wear safety boots and I wear black jeans, all year round. I’m outside a lot though.

Oh I also have a culotte jumpsuit, similar to the pic. That looks okay with my clumpy shoes!

Wide leg trousers or jeans? To be honest though if your mostly working in a warehouse/factory /depo type environment you'll have your hi viz and hard hat on any way which kind of puts paid to any attempt to be stylish 😁

I wear steel toe capped boots for work. Most of the year I wear them with straight leg trousers from a countryside store - hardwearing and no mucking about with flappiness. But at the moment I’m wearing shorts (longish with lots of pockets!). My work clothes need to be practical.
