Bronzer

I'm going on holiday soon and want a bronzer for the evening. Non glittery, and one that doesn't cling to wrinkles as I'm in my sixties.

Charlotte Tilbury or Benefit Hoola.

They do do a small compact with a highlighter too but it's the lightest shade. I also wish they did the big pan bronzers in a smaller size. They are starting to bring out lots of travel sized options so fingers crossed!

Bronzer is my desert island product & Ive tried most of them.

I always have

matte: Nars
cream: chanel
Tiny bit of shimmer: Guerlain
more glow: CT nudegasm

I would go for cream or liquid.

Cream - Chanel is the best
Liquid - I am trying Lumene now and it's pretty good and easy to work with (much cheaper than Chanel too)

I've recently bought a cream bronzer from W7 here. Lots of instagrammers reckon it's a good dupe for the Chanel one. It's non shimmery, not orange, and easy to build up the colour.

The loreal ones are very neutral and not at all red

i would recommend that or benefit

I also like the Huda glowish ones

The Chanel. They've just released in a smaller travel size which is less spendy. The original pot lasts for years on end.

Depends on how much you want to spend. For blush, I use either Dsniel Sandler watercolour range or Rodiel liquid blush. Smooth to put on. For a bronser around it, I use Avon pearls.

I bought the holy grail guerlain one last year and it made me look like a dusty rock. The Chanel one on the other hand is brilliant, lovely consistency and if you use sparingly give you a subtle glow, not shines or sparkly.

I definitely just read dusty rock as rusty duck 🤣

I treated myself to a Charlotte tillbury one after I had an operation and couldn't put foundation on due to a tender spot. Love it, not glittery and stops me looking half dead

@bronzedproseccolover thank you.

Can someone confirm which Chanel one is best - the healthy glow one or the cream-gel one? Also, would this work without any other foundation or concealer? I don’t wear make-up but need something for a special occasion. TIA
