Can you re-stitch swimwear

I bought a bandeau bikini top and have noticed today that some of the stitching is coming away.
The shop I bought it from have said I can return it for a replacement but it's saying low stock so I'm worried it goes out of stock between me sending it back and them receiving it.
So my question is, would this be able to be re-stitched/ re-enforced as they're offering me a partial refund.

You can, but the fabric looks quite mangled and so it would probably result in the same issue of new stitching pulling through. Do you know the hand stitch for such a repair? It is called a ladder or invisible stitch. you’d want to use nylon thread not polyester so it can’t withstand chlorine and sun.

I would accept the replacement and stitch as last resort.
