Hair dryers/ stylers

I am tempted to get a Dyson or Shark hairdryer...they are very expensive, are they worth it? When looking into them I can see Dyson do one where you can also style your hair, does that include the hairdryer part?
I don't have pockets full of money so I would most likely be looking to get one second hand. Am I wasting money or will this change my hair forever? Currently without blow-drying and GHD-ing my hair looks bushy. About 2/3 of my hair is naturally wavy and the rest is just frizz...can Dyson or Shark change my life?

I have Dyson hair dryer and I think it is brilliant. However I think it depends on your hair type. Friends don't rate it. I have very thick, highlighted hair prone to frizz.
I also buy expensive shampoo/conditioner hair products which make a difference.
For me the Dyson is brilliant alongside these hair products

It sounds like I have similar hair to you OP

Mine is very thick, wavy and prone to dryness.

The Dyson is great for me, it dries very quickly but I don't think it smoothes so great. I use the Babyiliss dryer brush which is great.

What products do you use on your hair @LennyBalls?

@PattyDuckface maybe this is my problem.. I don't use products. What would you recommend?

I love love love my Dyson dryer.

@PattyDuckface do you have the flyaway attachment? It smooths my hair so well it looks like I’ve gone over it with my ghd.

@PattyDuckface
I use redken shampoo and conditioner. I use K18 leave in conditioner alongside redken leave in conditioner
I also use a leave in mask every so often. Usually Percy and reed overnight mask.
I also use the colour wow dream coat every so often.
Obviously I don't use all of the above at the same time. The k18 is amazing. You use it for about 4 or 5 washes and then not for a while.
Same with the colour wow.
All of the above and the Dyson hairdryer makes my thick dry hair in good condition but as you can imagine it's all quite pricey.

I have the shark version. My hair has certainly been in better condition , but that might be because my standalone ghd hairdryer was higher powered and likely hotter.
I like the smoothing attachment, I don’t need to straighten my hair as much, and on my daughters hair it straightens it perfectly.

the curler attachments are great too
